Jeep

Beginning. Jeep brand was established in 1941 in the U.S. and began to produce the first cars off-road. History begins with the military model Willys Jeep MB. In 1946 Willys Jeep reserved name. Thus began his career in the "civilian". However, the first model is not for the military, yet appeared in 1945. It was a CJ2A Jeep (CJ - Civilian Jeep). Development. Mark had many owners. The first was a Willys. Jeep was sold in 1953, Kaiser Motors. This company was bought by American Motors Corporation (AMC) in 1970. In 1979, the American company began to invest the French Renault. In 1987 Chrysler bought AMC, due to the jeep. In 1998, the brand has been in the hands of Daimler Chrysler AG.
